Edmund Teske (1911-1996) has been called “one of the forgotten greats of American photography.” He had at least 20 solo shows, especially during the early 1960’s - including a posthumous retrospective at the J. Paul Getty Museum.

His work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among many many others.
