FAFF – the world’s largest art film festival – presented 100 films from 48 countries represented across the globe. Over half of the films were directed or produced by women, and POC directed or produced over a third of them. The Awards Show on June 14 was hosted by Juri Koll, Director of FAFF and Timothy Cogshell, a Director and renowned Film Critic on KPCC/NPR. FAFF 2021 closed out by screening "A Machine to Live In' (Brazil) and 2 additional films at the Cinema Beltrade in Milan, Italy on June 15.
“We're very proud to have been able to present FAFF to the world during the pandemic. Art and film bring us together. Bravo to all the entries, Official Selections and Award Winners!,” says Juri Koll, Founder and Director of ViCA, which presents FAFF.
